About XLAB Orthotics

XLAB Orthotics is a specialized lab that designs and manufactures custom orthotic insoles to support proper foot alignment, comfort, and mobility. Using precise measurements, digital scans, or molds of a client’s feet, our lab creates insoles tailored to each individual’s unique structure and needs. XLAB Orthotics works with medical providers, clinics, and footwear specialists to ensure clients receive accurate, high-quality devices.

In 1966, at age eight, our lead design and fabrication engineer started tinkering in his family’s orthotics lab. He hasn’t stopped innovating since: co-inventor of three patented orthotic devices and counting, he is a true craftsman with decades of experience. Driven by passion, in 2021 he and colleagues formed XLAB Orthotics. XLAB expanded into its current state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in West Allis, Wisconsin, a suburb of Milwaukee, in 2025 and continues to expand and build upon its orthopedic manufacturing roots and devotion to helping people.
